SOORRRREEEEE!!!
I can't believe what today bought about for me. I ended up joining at Genesis - on a better deal! I started the 8 week Weight Loss Course (being called Summer Blitz I think) tonight. Straight up into a cycle class. GET STUFFED!!!! I couldn't co-ordinate myself to stand up AND cycle at the same time. Then I got so dizzy I almost fell off so I spent most of the lesson sitting (which bloody well kills anyway) Then I only got to 15 minutes before I ran out screaming! Ok I didn't run out I walked, and I didn't scream I was like a mouse red faced and extremely embarressed. I couldn't even do a class. Not even part of one. SO I stuck around to do the circuit our trainers had set up for us. The Spin class was only supposed to be 20 mins but the trainer took them for over half hour! I spent the whole 15 minutes thinking my heart was going to explode and my butt and my legs were on fire!!! Circuit was 1 min of each thing, then race to the next.Squats, sit ups, db curls, steps, dips, skipping & medicine ball passing (OMG) OK I started on squats with my new friend K. I kept falling backwards but they were ok. - Then onto abs, mine were still killing me from my last workout but they were pretty easy - Dumb Bell Curls, 3kg weights went missing! so I did them with 4kg weights. Ouch. - Steps Both K and I laughed that we were gunna fall off them, god they are hard work. - Dips, my arms shook like hell and the bench kept sliding on me. I fell on my arse at one stage. I am soooo not co ordinated. - Skipping, looks easy as hell!!! I can skip. err no when I wasn't hitting myself in the back of the head with the rope I was tripping on it. I think I will have black eyes from my boobs hitting me in the face too. - Medicine Ball, not TOO hard but I kept hitting myself in the face as I caught it and 4kg hurts. Have I mentioned I am unco???? Oh yeah - then we did it all over again!!!! I was so red faced and sore by then end I was killing to get home. I fdound it way too easy to resist the pizza that my brother and his gf ordered and watched the biggest looser wondering how the hell they do that. I'll be in the gym on this "blitz" every Monday and Wednesday night now PLUS I have a 1 on 1 peronsla training session every week. I wonder how my progress will be - wish me luck.
