Nothing Much

Got nothing all that much to say today really.

I was playing with my camera last night and grabbed these shots of my candle setting. I love it when they are melting and changing shapes etc.
I hate my camera - I played with settings no end and it still hates low light and yellows everything. Which is annoying to say the least. It makes it annoying cause I want to photograph so much and share it with you inside the house but lighting in our house sucks and it really ends up looking like crap. - Not good for someone who makes money from Photography huh.

Anyway I will get the 20D soon or maybe even get a 40D (if that's what it ends up being called) as that's probably going to be released around Christmas. I am WAY past overdue for an upgrade. The d60 is 4 - 5 years old now and the technology behind it is antique LOL

Ah well - now I have explained it I will post the pic I do have of my graph with my jeans. It all starts Sunday people!

These are my goal jeans I have desired for 12 months. Megan bought them for me last Christmas - NEW and sitting in an op shop for $10. Isn't she a doll! Underneath the holly there I will put my disgusting before photo. And yes I will share here. I don't want to but come on! We all know a) it's not permanent and b) Alot of us have been this weight before. I am not kidding anyone by waiting before I post them.

Anyway - I must get a wriggle on. It's a lovely day, I want to check on some blogs. Maybe take some photos outside. AND Go for a walk and deliver some pamphlets (try and earn some summer money)

Spray Tanning Party season people! I will travel throughout Melbourne if you have enough people! Book me Now LoL

Have a Great weekend All!

Operation Roxy Jeans

Thanks for checking on me - A friend made the error up for me and I thought it hilarious and HAD to share.

A friend of mine set out and created a graph for me to chart my progress on and I have decicded to use it as a countdown to Christmas. I'm just not all that happy with myself this year at all, and I don't want "2006 the year for me" to turn into. "2006 the year of the lard arse". So as the years change over I am heading for my lowest weight ever.

At least then I made some progress this year LOL

The countdown starts this Sunday and finishes up Christmas Eve! This will help me stay in line during the festive season as I want all my pretty boxes coloured in.

I tried on my Roxy Jeans (the ever elusive goal jeans that hang on my wall). The last fitting had them looking like this on me.

Now they don't come over my thighs! At least they came up and did up before, even if I was laughing my head off at the massive muffin top.

I was in shock over what I have done to myself in such a short amount of time. Anyway no use crying over what's been and done. It's time to get into action and create a plan and be comfortable in these Jeans on Christmas Day.

You may remember - they were my birthday goal for LAST year, so when they fit this birthday I am going to look AMAZING!

Let the shrinking begin.

I'll take a photo of my graph when I have coloured in a few boxes.

I May be Disappearing Again!

Hey all - just quickly logging on to let you know my computer has posted it's last post. Read it's last email and seen it's last forum and blog.

I am posting on my Dad's but since this one died MONTHS ago I really don't expect to get much out of it and will just be burning away like crazy to get info off it that I can. (Sadly I can't get the info off mine until a pro looks at it)

Anyway - I have no one's email, no ones phone number (cause my phone also broke a week or so ago) And no one's blog details (cept those in my side bar and that's not even half of you because I have been slack in updating that) So if you have my phone number please at least sms me and let me know who you are so we can keep in contact until a replacement computer can be found (approx 6 weeks at a guess away)

In the meantime I am going to work out how people lived pre the land of the internet, broadband or even computer. (OMG I haven't lived without one since my age was single figures) AND if you give me your numbers (this includes you Beckie cause my computer crashed right after it downloaded your email) I will maybe even TELEPHONE You! Holy - that's something I haven't done since IM'ing became popular :P

Anyway love to all!

Go Hard! 13 weeks till Christmas!

Sorry Sorry I'm Back Again

Thanks so much for staying with me! I know it gets frustrating when you go through your blog list and all of as sudden people who you read all the time just go silent. Annoying.

But that was the last rally for the rest of the year (that's not to say I won't disappear again) And it was awesome. I always love the Vic Rally. It is the home of the rallies we do, has been going the longest, finishes up at the event directors pub. And all feels a bit like family.

Now let me scare you :p

That's 13 weeks 3 days!

Do you know how much weightloss there is to be done in this time and definitely not ernough time to get to goal (shite) But I can get as close as possible. I tell you this much I am sick of hurting myself and getting sick.

Despite the absolutely STUNNING weather over the weekend I have walked away with the flu. I am downing vitamin c like lollies and I am going to have kicked it by Monday! Of this I am sure.

Anyway - I have so much catching up to do. So will go visiting blogs - This may take awhile.

BANG BANG - YOUR TRIGGERS?

Cara had a bit of a breakdown the other day after a trip to the drycleaners ended in 2 chocolate bars - 1 & a half scoffed down and the other half she just couldn't get in before facing her partner Cam.

This left me thinking about my triggers.

I never thought I had any but telling Cara about my laundrymat habits I bloody do!

*BANG* When I go to the laundrymat I make a trip to the bakery next door and the fish n chip shop up the road - both of which are very good (especially when you are bored watching washing go round and round)

*BANG* Long queue at the supermarket or petrol station - I'll just have ummm this chocolate bar or that freddo or... (arghh)

*BANG* Oops I haven't packed and prepared my food and I am getting hungry. I'll just stop at ABC and get something healthy - "Would you like fries with that?"

*BANG* "Would you like fries with that?" I ordered a grilled chicken salad, no dressing! Does it sound like I want fries?? Yes please (oops was going to say no)

*BANG* There's something nice and easy (like a le rice) in the fridge and I am being a lazy sod. YUMMMMMMM

*BANG* Once I start - I don't stop.

*BANG*BANG*BANG*BANG*BANG*

I know there are heaps more triggers - of course there are. But I can't think of them right now. We need to recognise our triggers and beat them! Dodge the bullet.

I'll be working on mine. What are your triggers? Will you be working on yours?

Weightloss Interview!

Hey all!

There is a wonderful new site called
weight loss tips that you can visit! They asked me for an interview about my journey so far and you can read it there. Or read others interviews! See how other people have travelled their journey.

I'm getting there this week - ate clean, worked out. May have eaten too much cause I think the scales may tip 90 again tomorrow. This still counts apparently no matter how good for you the food is. (oops) Will reassess portions.

Bit narky though Cause I thought I was being SOOOOO good!

This weekend in the Sydney International Beauty Expo and the first expo I have missed since being in the industry which I'm a bit sad about. Plus I would have had the time for the seminars this time. But money must be saved! I need to be able to put in ALOT when it comes to buying a house.

Next weekend is the Vic Dutt0n Rally - not sure after today's events what the vibe will be like but normally the Victorian round is awesome. It's the finale to the whole years events and goes off with a bang. Gets bigger and bigger every year too!

Quite a few of the people I expect to be in attendance were at todays Targa West, the tragic event that claimed the life of the Marvellous Peter Brock. Peter's son James has entered the event previously also, and the Dutt0n has a wonderful family type feel. No doubt many have been rocked.

Plus coming into Spring work is really hotting up! So I have been busy.

I got information in the mail today about becoming a Personal Trainer. Just waiting on the funds and I'll be signing myself up. Can never have too much knowledge! Plus I would like to train hard and study hard and perhaps take a second job to subsidise my income and allow me to save money quicker.

Talk about adding to my plate - ah well all is good.

Take Care all! Have a great weekend

Go Hard!

Life gets into perspective

I haven't commented on many blogs lately. You see on Ali's blog I saw she had typed the most sorrowful news. The death of her little brother by suicide. Other things including my own just don't seem that important.

Hugs & prayer go to Ali and her family.

A huge tragedy that the family didn't see coming and still don't know why it happened.

Happy Fathers Day!

I took Dad to the footy a couple of weeks ago as his fathers day pressie. But woke him up this morning before church with a cooked brekky and a new book. He has toddled off to work a happy man.

I tell you though, someone needs to teach me how to cook bacon! I have stuffed my pan cause even though it's non stick (yeah right) half the bacon I cooked is GLUED to the bottom of it.

I have never had luck with bacon in my life. I just don't get it. It should be easy!

I want to take the opportunity to send out HUGE hugs to those of you that haven't got your Dad's with you anymore.

The bed I am sewing for Storm WAS going well. (even if a little wonky) Well know the sewing machine has gone to heaven without finishing what I set out to do! It basically slows and freezes. Oh joy!

I still have an offer open to anyone who feels they would like to sew it for me :p I am happy to mail it anywhere with another bag for return! LOL

I have another bed I got given for doing someones nails the other day but I need a zipper sewn in that too (arggh) I might toddle off to the tailors and see what it will cost me to get both done. It's seriously not big jobs. Just not easy for someone who doesn't know how to sew (Mum is no good at it either) and has a machine that belongs in the dark ages! Although I have used one fo those REALLY old Singers and they work well! This thing is an in between. Not new enough to be any good and not old enough to be any good either LoL

For years I have considered buying a brand new machine from one of those sewing shops and getting lessons at the same time. How good would it be to know what you're doing!

I did do 1 term at school of sewing in yr 8. Why don't they realise it's important for people to know this stuff. I tell you the amount of CRAP I learnt in highschool and they don't teach things like budgeting, sewing, investing, money etc. None of the important stuff. We leave highschool and get thrown into the world to sort of handle it ourselves. Or parents are relied on to teach children these things. But parents don't always know how either.

I know I learnt so much stuff in Highschool that is totally useless now. WHY???

I spent yesterday spring cleaning - pulled a tone of stuff apart so I get get dust our of corners and out from under funiture and fridges and whatever else. Sat down with my foot up (my ankle is sprained atm in case I haven't mentioned that one) and realised that since we are in the middle of knocking walls out, sanding, renovating a bit and painting all this dust will be back again with vengence in just a matter of days. I should have waited until we were finished haha... Ah well. Kept me busy and occupied and helped me burn many calories yesterday as I cleaned like a mad woman.

I have really gotten into candles lately, but they must be smelly. Makes the room smell pretty and correctly placed they look pretty too. I have always loved candles but Mum has always been scared we would burn the house down so it's nice to have a few candles burning around the place now without the stress.

I have a list of "to buy" at the moment and at the top of that list is an air cleaner for our living area and my bedroom. Then provided I stay on top of the sweeping and vacuuming (robo vac is also on my list) I figure that no one can complain about any doggy smell, doggy hair or anything else in the house.

You see I love having the dogs inside. Even on a nice day I am an inside girl. I don't like sitting in the backyard. I don't really like exercising outside. None of it. So having my dogs with me is important. They can relax in here too. Pats and pleasure galore.

But OH doesn't agree. He thinks dogs should never come inside a house. Ever. This is out BIG ARGUMENT! (I'm sure he won't mind me blogging about it cause ALL our friends know this is our fighting point)

I won't back down on the fact that I think dogs should be allowed inside and he wont back down that they wont. I suggested that we limit where dogs are allowed to go. ie: they stay out of ths study (mostly his domain). Out of the bedroom (purely so he doesn't have to put up with it) and if we have a house with extra living areas etc the main should be doggy free (so we can entertain without dogs) and one that is doggy friendly.

However the point remains he doesn't want that either. Not at all means not at all.

Now this is a sticking point.

You see Jason owns half of his house - his mother owns the other half. It is one reaosn I am not keen on returning because although his mother is a lovely person, I do not want to live with her again. The house is being sold soon. Jason's mother will be moving up the central coast. That leaves Jase and I to buy our own place. With 1 big issue. We don't have the income to increase the mortgage and what we will take out of the house wiull not get us back into the same area.

He is mad that he can't erase the mortagage and live in a unit for awhile because I have a dog we need to cater for. Therfor he says that he is making the biggest sacrifice for my dog and he asks I keep the dog outside. However while I see that having a big mortgage is a huge sacrifice I still don't want to leave my dog outside where she effectively becomes a garden ornament.

I won't lie to you or myself but when she is outside she is ignored. I do not spend the time with her. And a Rotty needs to be with their "pack" ie: me.

Anyway - that's the current argument. It's been brought up a lot this week as Jase doesn't think I can keep a house doggy smell and fur free. He says he loves me with all his heart but because we are both being stubborn maybe we should break up if we can't resolve this. I am not willing to concede and I'm not willing to lose him.

He will be here in a couple of weeks and here my dog lives inside. With basically free roam. Although most of the time she is in the main living area and sleeps in my room. This is why I need an air cleaner and a robovac. Then he can see that the house smells clean. Not furry and having the dog inside is a pleasant experience.

So if anyone is still reading my saga.. Thank You. And secondly do you have an air cleaner or a rorbo vac. What kind and what is your feedback???

There was an aircleaner that looked good that they advertised on that Channel 10 Lifestyle show on Saturday mornings. But that show doesn't seem to be on anymore and I don't remember how to find it. (It was online) so if anyone remembers that it would be handy too.

Anyway - this week I am hoping to be back into BFL Full time no more injuries!

Go Hard!!!

(maybe I belong on "It's me or the Dog" ? Take a look tonight on Channel 10 @ 7pm. My dogs aren't like THAT, but I feel sometimes that's the catch cry to our relationship)
