Operation Roxy is a journey to a lower weight with an intermediate goal of fitting into my size 16 Roxy Jeans. This has eluded me for over 12 months, but I am determined to wear them in 2007.

Manly... Seven Miles from Sydney... A Thousand Miles From Care
Sorry I haven't Blogged in ages - Or even commented on your blogs. I have been reading just quickly cause I have had so much to do.
I feel stuffed when I finish work sometimes so i don't get on before or after. Then I flew to Sydney Sunday morning and I am still here!!!! The weather has officially turned to shit though.
I have taken heaps of photos in the last 2 days so I will share a few with you! Monday I went into Manly and took some piccies of almost anything. It was such a beautiful day and in the middle of the day all these people were on the beach or on the warf or just strolling through the corso enjoying themselves and soaking up the sun. Ah the Australian way! I wonder how many threw a sickie for those rays :p
I also found that Max Brenners is in Manly Wharf centre/precinct/shopping area thingo. Not only are they THERE. They are Renovating. Not only that They are hiring!!! So any choccie lovers out there who thinks they can handle the temptation (for the most part at least) Get in contact with them.
Then I spent yesterday soaking up the sun in the city. I jumped on a bus (OMG) and got into town tok a few piccies of the QVB then headed down to Darling Harbour where I jumped on a Harbour Taxi (a boat) for a Harbour tour. Was great and well worth the $25! I would recommend a trip for residents and visitors to Sydney alike. It really reminds you what a STUNNING city this really is.
After that I headed up to the Chinese Gardens for lunch and a long lazy walk taking photos everywhere. In the end yesterday I took 2gig of photos!!! (Around 600 - 700 photos) I had these little dim sims for lunch that were beautiful and a bottle of diet coke to wet my now really dry lips (HINT - take lip balm on the boat with you!!) I got some beautiful photos and it is good to see Jade is so highly reguarded in Chinese culture. (he he he)
There is so much widlife in those gardens it's unbelieveable! I saw at least 7 lizards sunning themselves on the various limestone rocks and drinking from the waterfalls. There are also HEAPS of ducks most have ducklings. (too cute) Probably about 6 different ducky families I saw in there too. But I'll let a few photos speak for themselves when it comes to the Gardens. It is a magical place! If I went with other people I would have hired a costume first thing and had my friends take photos etc. For $10 you can feel like an Empress for the day. They are exquisite! (Hint hint to the LITS girls who are going out there soon I think)
In all my wandering about I never made it to the Bridge,The Rocks or The Opera House which I did want to do this trip. (Bugger) but I did do an estimated 18,000 steps yesterday (I dropped my pedometer a couple of times and reset it DAMN!) I need to get a pedometer that doesn't have a raised button. Otherwise this one is fantastic for my $2.99 Now if your computer is on dial up I have probably killed you to try and upload this page but I do hope you like my piccies. I just selected a few from each place. I did make them small though (you would really die if they were full size even with broadband) I had a big fight with the boy this morning that has left me in tears for the day - not the way I want to leave things and go home. And this weather means it's no a nice day to go out so I have no idea what to do with myself really. Take Care ALL!!!
