Operation Roxy is a journey to a lower weight with an intermediate goal of fitting into my size 16 Roxy Jeans. This has eluded me for over 12 months, but I am determined to wear them in 2007.

Pantry is ALL Purdy
Well kind of - really and truly I would love one of those tupperware PERFECT Pantrys as you see above. Actually if you do not have a walkin the above is THE type of pantry to have really. Maybe I'll get my friend to build like that. I like to see everything dammit!
But My pantry does look a LOT better than it did before. Now I need to buy a spice rack to hang inside the pantry as mine spices no longer fit. (I prefer the spinny tower ones but then you have to decant all your herbs and spices into their jars maybe one day)
And what do you do with your glad bake, glad wrap, sandwich bags, aluminum etc? I dont have any space in other cupboards and they used to just sit at the side but really there are too many and it's not practical or neat.
I threw out SO MUCH STUFF that was out of date.
I was chatting with a friend the other day who mentioned writing a list of everything in the pantry so you know what you have / what you need etc. This is a magical idea so I did that. And included Use By Dates etc. Now tomorrow I will transfer my list to an excel spreadsheet sort by use by (cause a few things are damn close) and do my menu for next week based around that. This same friend (who chooses not to be mentioned) tells me there is a new website which will be handy in this task. taste.com.au You can type in any ingredient you have sitting in the pantry that you would like to use and it comes back with corresponding recipes. How totally COOL!
I have so much more cleaning and organizing to do tomorrow. Seriously anyone would think I was nesting the way things have been around here lately. Actually make that today - Damn I should be in bed.
