TOO COLD!
I have made a few enquiries on house and land etc on the Central Coast for Mum and Dad over the weekend. We have all decided it's too damn cold. Heaters running constantly and I look 120kg again thanks to the sheer amount of layers I'm wearing.
It hailed here this afternoon which is a big deal if you are north of here. That's when you start to worry about damage to cars, rooves etc. But in Melbourne it is a soft hail and always tiny. I haven't seen hail that covered the ground like snow here since I was a kid either (which is when you could scoop it up and pour cordial over the top for natures very own snow cone) I love the hail when it comes down like that. I suppose at least it's better than damaging cars etc.
Indulged in some kabana spaghetti today. It's my free day and kabana spag although wickedly simple is an old family favourite. Its basically chopped kabana, tomato soup, diced onion and some bacon if you feel like it over some pasta. Very yummy. Not exactly healthy mind you but yummy all the same.
I thought over this past week I would have stacked on the kilos big time. But weigh in this morning revealved I am sitting on 83.8kg which is not even a 1kg gain. (thanks be to God) So I am getting myself ready to strip that .9kg and the rest of this lard all off! BFL challenge 2 begins tomorrow and I have quite a good menu worked out for the week which is awesome. Just need to do the shopping which I believe we are doing in the morning (normally we shop on Sunday but Mum just can't be bothered today and is sitting in the recliner beside me with a dressing gown over the top of her like a blanket snoring happily LoL)
I'm about to take off and do the group challenge final photos and we are trying to figure out a way of getting me in the next group challenge (because I will be in QLD for the Dutton Rally at the end of this challenge) Would be lovely tonight if Mum would let us light the fireplace - we have a beautiful open fireplace that hasn't been lit somewhere in the vicinity of the last 15 years.
Take care all and enjoy what is left of the weekend.OH and to sign off a Big Congrats to Blogger Hayley and her new Hubby Adam who were married yesterday.
