Well I did it - I walked into Syndicate (normally a store I would avoid like the plague) and bought myself a size 16 dress. It is stunning and I felt like a Princess at the wedding on Thursday night.
Ky (my brother's gf) was a big help and she cut, coloured and blow dried my hair the morning of the wedding - a HUGE job as anyone who knows me and my hair will attest. This woman is FANTASTIC! Again I am sporting a cut I love. This has happened both times she has done my hair and NEVER before with anyone else. She took so much weight out of my hair it's amazing!
I wore strappy black heels with sparkly diamonties and carried a plain black clutch. My necklace and bracelet were a last second find (literally the shop was closing it's doors and I was looking for green polish not jewellry) and a bargain!
I indulged at the wedding and enjoyed almost every morsel. We had so much fun - our table consisted of close friends and we laughed all night so much we were all holding bellies and cheeks which were getting sore! W&T were right to put us up the back corner LoL
I was driving so only enjoyed tastes of others alcohol and drank diet coke all night. (I don't really drink anyway and none of it was all that appealing)
W&T will be enjoying their honeymoon next year and are just enjoying a shortbreak at the moment. They looked so in love. So right for each other. I am going to miss them when they move back to Darwin at the end of December. (cries)
I have never had such a good night with my brother (we fight alot) and I will cherish his laughter and smiles that night - he was in such a good mood.
I got some great photos at the wedding though which is good because now I have to be THE photographer for a friends wedding next week and at least I know now I am half decent at this (phew)
I wish someone had got a full length shot of me that night though cause I just felt so good.
I have put on weight but I am suffering with TTOM again already! This is rediculous and reminds me of why I was having the needle to start with. I woke up yelling at Mum this morning and I now know why. So grumpy.
