Operation Roxy is a journey to a lower weight with an intermediate goal of fitting into my size 16 Roxy Jeans. This has eluded me for over 12 months, but I am determined to wear them in 2007.

I am getting ready for New Year!
At first that sounded so stupid to me but do you realize how close it is to New Year? I plan on ENSURING a plan for 2007. So that enthusiasm reigns and I do what it is I need to do. I have already written my first weeks meal plan.
January 1st will find me measuring and weighing and surveying the damage that was 2006. ATM I am a touch OVER IT! I plan on having a food filled time between now and the new year. I am happily devouring my Mum's birthday cake which is a divine sponge I made from scratch. We have a box full and overflowing with Christmas goodies and My birthday is Thursday week!
Operation Roxy will hit full force this January and the fat will fly. LOL
I'm thinking about organizing my birthday bowling thing for somewhere between the 19th and 21st January. Because Deb from QLD will be in town and we can all meet up!
Is anyone planning anything for New Years Eve? I have nothing planned and will probably watch a DVD or the fireworks or something on TV.
Last night I taught my Mum to wax LOL. I am a touch sore under the arms this morning (I think it's from me twisting into odd positions not her waxing) I have ALWAYS paid for my waxing. Cause my legs (the biggest part of course) KILL when I wax them. I can sit through a Brazilian, eye brow, underarm ANYTHING and talk calmly and relax. But my legs - oh the pain.
But anyway back to my story (sorry if I'm disturbing you talk of Brazilians etc is normal to me haha) I am way overdue for a wax. I moved my appointments 3 times the other week cause I was sick (I'm sure they think they lost me to the Brazilian Butterfly that opened across the road on that same day oops) And I just really don't have the time to go spending on a wax bed. Well I don't have the patience.
PLUS I want my new car! Which means I need to keep the $87 I spend on waxing in my savings account right now. So the time has come to do it myself.
I don't know if it was because I was coaching her through it or what but it didn't hurt! Not a bit. I'm pretty darn impressed with myself. And Mum is now my wax technician LOL. Some more training and I might be able to put her to work.
The only thing we didn't do was my Brazilian. I figure that can wait until I plan on seeing my boy again and I might get someone to professionally do that (although I have done it myself before). I will need to keep it tidy for swimming though LOL LOL No one needs to be put through that.
My gym membership resumes on Tuesday and I plan on being there at 6am with a smile on my face. I will get back into my workouts. I will regain my strength and my previous bests will be slaughtered. IT will take time but it WILL happen.
Maybe I should go buy a new training diary. I don't want another BFL diary until I prove I can do a challenge without succumbing to the obstacles that make up life.
I want to say a HUGE congratulations to Cara who just announced her engagement. Her boy Cam is so romantic. You can read the story on her blog.
