Heatwave (88.1)

MY GOODNESS!

It has been so damn hot! I can't stand hot weather at all, never have, never will. All these people are at risk of losing their homes around Victoria mostly thanks to the heat and high winds. I can't believe they think that some campers who got kicked out of the national park were the ones who lit the gippsland fires. How could anyone be that callous!

We have had rain here tonight and also in the Grampians but I believe while it helped one front 13 more appeared with the high winds and now King Lake looks set to be flattened.

I hope everyone is safe and not in the path of the fires. And you all had a great relaxing Autralia Day.

I AM getting out of bed in the morning to go to the gym as we are expecting high temperatures for the next few days I need to excercise before it gets hot as the gyms cooliong system doesn't cope.

I'm still considering BFL although maybe on my own (without my trainer) I have been on the Body For Life Aussie Forums and they are talking about starting a Large Group Challenge. Can I drag Ryala in with me (? hint nudge ?)
I have the eating for life book here which is VERY attractive - plus a whole pile of recipes from the forums. Looks GREAT very yummy. The work is the hard part though I suppose.

So in order to get out of bed best I get into it!
Goodnight all.

Owned by My Rotty (88.4)

Weigh in was a non result. Can't I just have a no weigh pass LMAO
I was up 200 grams to 89.8 BUT still in the 80's so you will notice a blinkie under my stats proclaiming me to be the 80's girl I dreamed I could be.

TTOM is sucky pants, pooey bum. I need to go see a Dr. as I have exclaimed on this blog for months now as my TTOM comes twice a month and won't leave me alone!

So now time to set my goals for Week 4 of the
Living in the Suburbs Forum which has a reasonable award I would like to win! LoL

IF I do all this then next week I get to go to the movies!

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------

On another note.

I have been going to buy my rottweiler statue since before Christmas but unfortunately the one I had my eye on (which is an exclusive import) SOLD the very same day I went to get him. By chance I had to visit a salon in the same complex as my fav little collectabnile shop (selections) and as I was walking out the door there he was!!! My Axel!

"YOU HAVE AXEL" I yelled in the middle of the shop (lol lol lol excited me thinks) And yes she said - I said I came un and you had sold the very last one. She tells me that they stuffed up the ordering from overseas so this indeed was the very last one. (they have had 2 last ones before, one sold and she found another in the stocktake out the back, and then he sold before this one was imported) "I'll Take Him!"

I had no time nor an incling to think about the money I was spending ($100) on a statue. nor did I even know where he was going to live once I bought him home. But I was not missing out again. SO my sidebar has been updated. I have my Rottweiler Statue and his Name is Axel.

I also saw a stuffed rotty toy on special so I grabbed that too. Storm is lying beside it in the top picture.

As you can see from my title I have already lost the weight I put on (1.1kg overnight) So you can tell how bloated I have been. Although I have to say I never feel bloated. Never. I will live for the day when I am so skinny I need loose pants so I can survive TTOM (lol when I'm there I'll hate that too I'm sure)

Sunday Blues (89.5)

I so don't want tomorrow to be Monday!
Look at my weight - I have only dropped 100grams this week! TTOM and bad eating has not been friendly.

It is so hard to resist the ice creams and thickshakes and everything when you are so freaking hot!! Before that almost anything would do for a snack anyway - I ate 2 big bags of musk sticks from the train station, the best yo yo biscuit I have ever eaten in my life (also from the train station) I munched on a nana divers choc chunk cookie out of a vending machine at the station waiting for a train. I ate Bacon and cheese rolls, welsh rabbit and copious amounts of fetta and sundried tomates, cheese and kabana and bikkies with dip.

WTF is wrong with me! I am having TTOM TWICE every month! Yep you guessed it every 2 weeks FOR a week! So I only get 1 weeks break in between where I am PMSing anyway.

Body For Life starts on Feb 5 and it's going to cost me $1600 plus food and supps. I do not have that money! I am stressing because I want to do BFL so bad and the only thing holding me back is cash. I think I just have to admit that I can't afford it and go it alone.

PRAYING for a loss tomorrow!

TAGGED!!

I Got Tagged by iDiet
Gotta say I'm extremely happy cause this is my first ever TAG!

1. What were you doing 10 years ago?
I was 15 and left school. I got my first full time job in BIG W and I was the same size I am now. I was stressed out, thought $200 a week was a rich mans wage! I bought something (a lot of things) from Big W every week!

2. What were you doing a year ago?
A year ago my Dad was scheduled to have surgery on his shoulder and hadn't worked in awhile - mum had quit and I moved home to support the family. I was missing My boy in Sydney. My weight problem was very real at size 24 and I wasn't doing anything to help myself.

3. Five snacks I enjoy:
Cheese, Kabana, Dip & Bikkies
Hot Chips (especially Best Legs or Red Rooster)
Welsh Rabbit (Cheese on toast melted in the microwave)
Bread! God I love soft fresh Bread
Cookies
(anyone else notice none of this is healthy?)

4. Five songs to which I know all the lyrics:
Blister In The Sun - Violent Femmes
Don't Cry - Guns n Roses
Khe San - Jimmy Barnes
Nothing Else Matters - Metallica
Pump It - Black Eyed Peas (just to throw in something new)

5. Five things I would do if I were a (MULTI) millionaire:
Pay off Mum & Dads and Jasons Houses
Create an investment portfolio
Retire my parents
Move the MIL wherever she wants to be (which is not with us)
Set myself up on a large property with all the animals I could handle

6. Five Bad Habits
Swearing - I'm a complete potty mouth
Putting my clothes away straight away
I'm a hoarder
Sleeping In
Coke Addiction (coca cola that is - zero or diet)

7. Five Things I Enjoy Doing
Gym - when I have my flow
Driving (esp my torry, cressy isn't bad either)
Photography
Beauty
Anything with my dogs

8. 5 Things I Would Never Wear (or buy or get)
Tacky 80's AUSTRALIA Jumpers with the snowflake puffy type paint on them
Thongs (as in flip flops or jandles)
NSS Nails (as in like professionails/hollywood nails etc)
Those high waisted (sided) Bikini's (you see them on some body builders)

9. Five favourite toys:
Laptop
Camera
Mobile
PDA
Collar

Remove the top person from the list. Bump everyone up a spot, and put yourself at the bottom.

So its come down to this
ukraine adventure

Its a Fatty Lump!

Just got back from the vets and I am SOOO happy to report Storm is just fat LMAO. No no no I mean it's a fatty lump there is nothing suspicious about it at all so I am thrilled! Never been happier to hear about fat in my life. Almost danced around the vet surgery!

Thanks so much for all your support! I couldn't have coped without you!
ESPECIALLY Lors and Di from Dellahar Rottweilers. I never calmed down until I spoke with her.

Much Calmer (89.6)

After talking with a few knowledgable people I have calmed down alot as to Storms Mystery bump but was on the phone to the vet today. They are seeing her in the morning and then she'll have a lovely bath (she loves the massage bit)

I have been praying and praying and I believe it's probably just a fatty lump or a cyst of some sort.

Sunday I went down to Rosebud and I met
Em and her family who are taking a break for awhile down there in a family holiday house. It's fabulous and she has picked the right week for it with the weather we have had and are expecting. Only problem was that we went to a lovely little bakery for lunch and I caved into the Sausage Rolls! It was yummy though.

As you can see today (my official weigh in day) I am down 1.5kg from last Monday though and now officially an 80's Girl! I wonder if I can keep this sign up so far. My deal is 1 week of 80's and the sign goes on the sidebar!

I have come so far and now I am 100grams off the 25kg mark. I am almost at halfway which is so exciting.
After helping the Neighbour move out Saturday (great upper body workout and the stairs are great too LoL) I got roped back in Sunday which meant cleaning the house from top to bottom for the new neighbours (who will be renting from our old neighbours) Let me just first explain to you - this is actually 2 houses! Not one, TWO!!!!! There is the main house at the front (4 bed + study) AND another house behind (4+ bed plus offices, plues HUGE rumpus and bar) Plus sweep paths etc. Finished it all off today and got a good workout at the same time.
Now talking about workouts I have been TRYING to do the couch to 5km program. But I can't do it! Everyone has said how easy it is etc etc and I just don't think it's easy at all! This morning I tried it and I got 3 runs out and I couldn't go any further (granted at this point I was DRAGGING my dog behind me) So I thought I would try again this evening - and I got 1 run out! ONE!!
I am so upset about this. I was doing so well come the end of last year. I do hope it's just a matter of building my fitness back up again cause it may be in a shamble at this stage.
I am telling my PT that I need to be able to walk and use my arms etc this week though. OUCH! I have another session at 8:15am
Wish us luck at the Vets in the morning!
Pray for Storm. My lil bubba!
Thanks so much for all your support and everything through this - I am sure alot of you know what it's like when your animals are your kids.

Crying and Scared (89.9)

Those that know ANYTHING about me know my dog Storm is my LIFE! I love her to pieces. She is a surrogate child and I try and take her everywhere I possibly can because I enjoy her company.

Mum was patting her today and felt a big lump on the side of her chest. Right on her ribcage she has a sizeable lump. Now so many people have been talking about bone cancer etc in rottys lately and I am so scared. I can't face the thought of losing my little girl. She is only 3.5 and will be 4 in May.

PLEASE pray for my girl!

On another note - I can kind of walk today and helped the neighbours move out of their house which gave me that upper body workout I had planned for today anyway. And a 2 Story house meant I did heaps of stair climbing today.

But Storm is the only thing on my mind.

Angelina Is Preggers! (90.8)

I wake up this morning to my MSN telling me Brad Pitts spokeswoman has confirmed that Angelina Jolie Is pregnant with Bard pitt's child AND that Brad has offically filed for adoption of Zahara and Maddox!

Well We all knew the second part (or assumed the tabloids were probably right) but is there no one in this world the pregnancy fairy isn't going to wave her magic wand over (other than me).

I for one am a huge fan of Angelina's and will follow every little baby bump picture with facination.

I should really get ready for work now - My legs still don't work! But I will take it easy today (already discovered walking/running it out doesn't work)

SOOO SORE (91.1)

I'm hoping the up in weight is fluid I'm retaining to help fix my poooorrr Muscles.
I knew I was in trouble when to roll over in bed I had to make very delibrate and yet painful and slow movements.

Or how bout when I couldn't get out of bed this morning, that was interesting too.

I had to go to Greensborough today for some traning (work and abour 1.5 hours drive) and I got there early but the person I was meeting was late. 2.5 hours later I got out of the car at maccas to use their "facilities" and I couldn't walk - I was in heels and wobbling along looking like I had already done what I was going to go do in my pants. I couldn't do anything. How embarressing! Thankfully by the time I lowered myself to the loo - then dragged myself back off the loo I loosened up and bit and was semi able to walk back to the car.

I can still HARDLY walk and I still need assistance to get in and out of the chair.

I made a committment this week to start the couch to 5km program and I thought after the brisk 5 minute walk I would loosen up enough to continue with day 1 of the program. - Apparently not, my knees do not know which way to bend, and I nearly fell on my face at least 3 times (and this was the walking warm up) I did do 3 60second running burts but my legs are made of lead. So dissapointed with these results but I am determined to give it another go tomorrow.

I have had my 2 litres of water today though! YAY
And I am starting to become reliant on it - I forgot my bottle this morning and I was looking for it 15 minutes into my drive and spewing I didn't have it all day!
I've had to do some sculling to get it all down this evening though.

I got my car back - thank god - they don't know why the wire burnt out but put a heavy duty wire in it's place and it's going back periodically for check ups since there is nothing wrong with it. (weird car) It's the only problem I have ever had with it so fingers crossed it doesn't happen again.

The girl to the left there - the one with the looovveeelllyyy tummy! She's there because I WILL have a tummy like hers one day.

I think I have rambled enough for one day now - don't you??
Anyone have cures for these muscle pains?

OUUUCHHH (90.9)

So do you like my new look??
My legs wont take me far enough to do anything else today so I updated the look of my blog and included listing all the blog addresses I know list back to me (about 1/4 of the list I actually read though OMG)

I got through my 2 litres today - in fact I'm up to 3 I think. Eeek Maybe 4!

Started the morning off with a PT session with Jaz - I have never worked so hard in all my life! In fact so hard I threw up, collapsed on the locker room couch, moved to the PT couch and stayed there for 15 minutes before I made it to the car. This session really shouldn't have been THAT hard - except my last trainer never did push me! And I'll line up to do this all over again next week (hopefully avoiding the feeling faint and throwing up bit though)

I had to call into work sick and I got home had a protein shake (which I almost vomited back up again) and went to bed. I got up again around 12pm and I am still shakey on my feet even now.
I don't think it helps that I have been suffering a migraine for 2 days - got so bad the other night that made me vomit and everything too!

I am going to be sore and sorry for myself in the morning but I am hoping that I can move enough to start the Couch to 5km.

I found a Camelbak I want for my running too! It's a pretty pink one.
Matches my trackies, my shoes and me in general I think.

I'm on track for the Challenge which I am happy about and I am hoping I show a big loss this week (with all that effort).

91.1kg

Well the markets went well at Rye on Saturday and we are booked to go back again next month - fingers crossed for great weather and still plenty of campers.

I got so burnt though - even though I was wearing sunscreen! It's shocking! I have a patterned neck now from my new necklace and I look so stupid! Mum is writing a letter to the sunscreen company becaue that's disgusting!

My Car also broke down on Saturday and it seems it has another stuffed wire - it is with my mechanic and his auto elec trying to figure out why the wire broke. This is only the second time my car has broken down on me and last time it was the same problem. I hope the auto elec does this one free cause he should have fixed it last time!

I weighed in today - 91.1kg which means I made my 1kg loss goal for the week and I am happy! I probably could have done better but hey who cares! I am above target at 1.1kg loss.
The challenge has been keeping me so busy so I haven't blogged and I haven't checked blogs in a few days (boy am I going to have a job ahead of me)

I am going to update this blog too but I need some time (which I dont have) so I'll update my stats and my blog asap!

My goals for this week are:

  1. Lose 1kg
  2. Drink 2litres of Water a Day
  3. Commence Couch to 5km
  4. Gym 4x This week
  5. Rebalance Nails
  6. Mail Birthday Cards
  7. Maintain a Healthy Diet
  8. Moisturise Daily
  9. Book Fitness Assessment

I should add - do something with blog DAILY!

Anyway - back at work this week and it sucks - I am outta here Pt session in the morning.

Fridays Suck!

So I finally did get some sleep last night - and you know what I noticed while sitting here typing - Next door had doof doof music going at 4 o'clock in the morning!!! DOOF DOOF!! Well all I could hear was the bass anyway. It wouldn't be so bad if they would turn down the bass so it doesn't make the whole room shake and that's all you hear.

Well Nicky and Ryala have set up a new place called "The Points Cafe" http://thepointscafe.blogspot.com

It's a great resource for those on WW or even those not on WW and has Recipes including Points calculations! This is in effort to provide everyone with a replacement resource for the ww website which they are now selfishly charging for.

Now I'm told KathrynOh is no virgin to Fun Runs BUT she is a virgin to distances like the 14.7km Long leg of the www.runforthekids.com.au Royal Childrens Hospital one! So she is planning on challenging herself and doing that leg. I have a few people interested in joining us and we may even have a group entry if enough people come along! Me and a few others are doing the 4.5km leg AND even if you walk it you are still way better off than sitting at home doing nothing :)

I believe Miss Nicky is coming along too so the list is ever growing!

I have no idea how to link these names to their blogs - been trying to figure that out since I started blogging so if anyone can point me the right direction that would be cool!

I tried going to the Gym tonight - My Mum wouldn't come with me this afternoon saying we should wait for Dad and then when Dad FINALLY got home she served up a big roast for them and they both said they weren't coming on a full stomach! ARGGHHH

So I pop into my lil car and get to the Gym right before closing time - I forgot they close early on Fridays cause so many people go out instead! I've never been one for going out on a friday night - I just want to go to the gym please! Frustration PLUS!

There's not even Headland on on Friday night! Does the rest of the world shut down cause some people end up at the bar on Friday night after work and don't leave until Sunday morning or something?

I was talking to my brother earlier about his BodyFat % - My brother is as fit as they come very buff and most girls tell me quite dreamy! (Blond hair, Blue Eyes, Good Tan, Muscular and Tall) And I asked him what his Body Fat % was at the moment - 11%
11! Can you believe that - here I am at 40.6% and he is 11%!

Bugger it - why did he get the metabolism in the family (he does workout hard but only to build muscle, he's not had any fat in his LIFE!)

BUT this is the boy that will eat a Large Bacon Deluxe Meal AND a Whopper for every meal every day if left to his own devices! (Or even just feels like there is nothing to eat here)

Tomorrow I am going to be down on Rye Beach at the Markets selling sarongs - I am praying I don't eat like I did at the markets last time. If you're a local come down and say hi! Apparently the market down there is GREAT

Anyway I am going - remember people challenge www.livinginthesuburbs.com

ARRGHHH (90.8)

Check out the time of this blog (if you can) It's 3:20am as I start typing this and I just can't sleep! I have been trying since about midnight and it's not working at all for me!

Storm is keeping me company though - even if she is snoring at leat she decided snoring beside me (wherever I may be) is better than snoring alone.

So Whike I'm up I might as well type out a blog I should have done days ago (oops)

I have decided to participate in Run For The Kids. It's a Fun Run held in Melbourne on April 9 with 2 distances 14.7km and 4.5km. I am going to walk/jog the 4.5km route! It raises money for the Royal Childrens Hospital and so Far I have Ryala, Breebie & KathrynOh on board with me! Please let me know if you would like to come too! Should be lots of fun! I think so far we are all fun run virgins so this should be really cool. Check out the website at www.runforthekids.com.au

I finally got my shoes from the USA delivered! (woohoo) not so happy that I paid for them a month before they were even posted. Open the bag to find said fantastic shoes are damaged!!! Mad as hell! Have organised with seller to send me another pair though and was hoping they woul dbe here by now so I could start the Couch to 5km program. Bugger

Got myself back to the gym and went both Tuesday and Wednesday - probably should have gone today (or yesterday) but I put it off and put it off in the morning to guve my brother his birthday present and then we had guests in the evening so I put it off some more. Instead being Josh's birthday I pigged out on sponge cake and Choc Hazelnut Slice (both divine if you would like recipes, bugger this is a diet blog jadey!) The end result being tat I have consumed way more sugar than my body is used to (wouldn't have been like this in the past) and I am sitting here blogging at 3:30am waiting to be ready for bed - which is far more comfortable than the computer desk!

While I was at the Gym I checked my Body Fat % which happened to be 40.6% OMG 40.6% of me is fat! How disgusting! Must work on that one for sure.

I have organised to change trainers and now have 1 PT session a week leading me up to Body For Life - I need to discuss $$ with him though cause they are going to be extra tight! I really really really want to get moving with it though too.

Tomorrow I expect my scales to go skywards so I am going to have to work extra hard in the next few days to make sure I drop that kilo for this week (dammit) and I don't think I have any more excuses for pigging out - and if I do I must try and remember how shitful it is sitting here alone typing away at 3:40am trying to figure out stuff to say so I can tire myself out and go to sleep (BTW It's not working) So I won't do it again!

You only have until SUNDAY to sign up to the Living in the Suburbs 12 week Challenge at www.livinginthesuburbs.com Get your measurements and photos taken, decide if you want to be in for the prizes or not & set your challenge and weeks goals! Seriously JOIN!!! Even if you don't want to be financial it is a massive help and it's all about doing it YOUR WAY!!

I want some more people to join so I can kick their booties LOL
Come on Join Now and try to kick mine please (wont be hard if I keep eating cake!)

I'm off to try the milk thing - and I'm sure I have some lavender oil somewhere that's suppose to put you to sleep isn't it?? The Vacuum is too loud to start doing the housewortk I need to do - arrghh my alarm is set for 7am Goodnight!!!

Goals, Challenges, Comittments & Resolutions (92.2kg)

So as you can see below I've made quite a list for myself. I've been being slack with my efforts for way too long now and it's time to get back on track. I saw my weight go to an all time low of 89.8kg on 15th Dec and since then I have just put on and put on. I find it so sad that a matter of a few weeks see's me back in the OBESE BMI range at 31

Never fear - I'll be trying my hardest to work it all back off again! I will see the 80's quicker than you can say Jack Lightening, and I will acheive the things on my lists below.

What Are You Doing?

It looks like I have gingavitus and my gums has retracted so far that my front bottom teeth are actually chipping away at the gumline. They are not sore but it does feel like I have popcorn stuck between my teeth which is VERY umcomfortable and annoying. I can't believe it - I have never had any work done to my teeth as I have never needed any and of course Mum was right - Brush your gums!!!

  8. Get Engaged (I have no control on this one)
  9. Get another Rotty (Must wait for the right one and the right time hey)
  10. Buy a House

I reckon the last one & no. 8 will be the hardest! We'll see how we go.
Most of the above is reliant on $$$ which isn't something I have much of (last check I had $1)
